The next step in creating a website is adding pictures to the document. While tools like Dreamweaver and GoLive make this step a snap, it's still good to know HOW to place images through HTML code. Inserting a Static Image: The code to add an image to a website is almost as simple as adding text links, there are a few different ways to customize this code, but basically it's simple: There are several different ways to specify the placement of an image: <img src="family.jpg"> <img src="family.jpg" width=130 height=130> <img src="family.jpg" name="family"> <img src="family.jpg" border=0> The extra pieces of code are used for resizing images, naming images for use in scripts and specifying borders.
