Citynet Announces Its Partnership in Education with Trinity Christian School

MORGANTOWN, W.Va - Citynet is proud to announce its involvement as a Partner in Education with Monongalia County’s Trinity Christian School.

The Monongalia County Schools Partnerships in Education Program, established in 1986, links organizations with schools to share both human and material resources. Schools must prepare today's students for their entry into a diverse, competitive work force. When businesses take part in the education of these young people, they help strengthen the work force of the future. The Partners in Education program is vital in helping the community and the school system work and grow together.

Today, the mission of the program is to nurture and strengthen existing partnerships that support college and career readiness. The Education Alliance provides tools and resources for forming or enhancing a business and school partnership.

Todd Dlugos, Citynet’s Chief Financial Officer, says “One of Citynet’s priorities is to support West Virginia’s education system.   Trinity is an important part of this community and Citynet recognizes that Trinity is dedicated to being a positive influence in this community.  They continue to provide an academically challenging environment. For example, almost 100% of their graduates go on to a four year college or university.  Citynet is partnering with Trinity to enable the school and its students to take advantage of the most up-to-date learning tools available so that Trinity students will continue to be among the best and the brightest of today’s youth.”

Citynet’s partnership will provide Trinity’s staff and students the highest quality technological support available in the state of West Virginia and enhance the best education possible.  Through IT and infrastructure assessments and planning, Citynet will team with students, demonstrating the role that technology plays in various stages of our lives: academic, social, career, health, and others.

“Our education partners play an integral role in our ability to fulfill our goal of Educating for Life. As such, it gives us great pleasure to announce our newly formed partnership with Citynet’s Morgantown office as recognized by the Partnership in Education program. Citynet is one of the region’s leading IT solutions companies and we are grateful that they desire to support the administration, faculty, and students of Trinity through a PIE partnership” says Ken Howard, Superintendent of Trinity Christian School.

“We are so excited to put Citynet’s expertise to such a good use. Such partnerships foster better attitudes, improve schools and increase both student and teacher performance," Kristen Heiser, Director of Marketing & Communications at Citynet explained. "Partnerships truly make a difference.”
