Tim serves as Citynet’s Director of Business Development. In this role he is responsible for Citynet’s Wholesale Digital Phone Partner Program, developing key Carrier Relationships and special projects. He played key role in Citynet’s acquisition of the AFN network of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to his current role, Tim served as Citynet’s Carrier Sales Account Director for the Citynet Fiber Network.

Before coming to Citynet, Tim was the general manager of Wirefire Internet in Parkersburg; and a project manager for iDigi Technologies where he oversaw wireless network deployment in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Tim is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and lives in Parkersburg, WV with his wife, Denise, and their daughter, Macie. An avid sports fan, Tim puts his passion to work volunteering as a high school basketball coach. Tim also has a strong interest in horse racing and maintains fractional ownership in several Standardbred race horses.

Tim is based out of Citynet's Westerville, Ohio office.

Anthony joined the Citynet team in 2007 after spending two years working in WVU’s Web Services unit as an Applications Specialist. Anthony began his career at Citynet as a Software Developer and was promoted later that year to the role Database Administrator. In 2008 he took on the additional responsibilities of Senior Developer and was promoted to Manager of Development in late 2009. Anthony currently manages six members of the Development Department as well as his duties as Database Administrator and a Software Developer.

He is a Certified Adobe ColdFusion Developer and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server, and, like all of the Citynet experts, is actively pursuing additional professional certifications.

A Bridgeport native, Anthony is a Graduate from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Communications.

In his free time, Anthony enjoys working with computers; both hardware and software, robotics, data forensics, and database design, as well as volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. He also has a passion for photography and films and cooking. His baklava and cheesecakes are often requested by the Citynet Team!

Anthony is based out of the Citynet headquarters in Bridgeport WV.

Brian is a native of Morgantown, WV. He graduated from WVU in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. After graduating he started with GenesisElder Care, a nursing and rehabilitative care provider, as a staff accountant. In 2002, he moved to Indianapolis, IN where he spent three years as an external auditor with a public accounting firm and two years as internal auditor with a regional bank.

Brian joined Citynet in 2007 as a Divisional Controller and in 2009 he took over as manager in the CABS/Cost Control Department.

He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their three children Isaac, Sofia and Samuel. He also enjoys golfing and basketball.

Brian splits his time between the Morgantown, WV and Bridgeport, WV offices.

Jonathan joined Citynet’s team in 2001, after completion of his Associate degree in Computer Information Management. Starting out on the Customer Support team, Jonathan received a strong background in the company and its functions. Realizing his interests outside of the technical support realm, Jonathan joined the Retail Sales Support Team. After a year, Jonathan stepped up to fill the role of Manager for the department.

Jonathan has also received his certifications for Master Certified Internet Webmaster (MCIWD) and Master Certified Internet Webmaster – Certified Instructor (MCIWD CI).

Now having over fifteen years' experience with the company and obtaining his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, Jonathan now serves as our Vice President of Operations and Human Resources.

Kristen oversees Citynet's marketing, advertising, internal and external communications as well as public and media relations for the company.

A seasoned news and Internet professional, her career spans nearly two decades of working with leading media companies in the region, and the nation. She began her career in the broadcasting business in Pittsburgh, PA first as a news producer at ABC affiliate WTAE-TV, then as executive producer at WVTY-FM, and later serving in the dual positions of executive producer of programming at WTAE Radio as well as the station’s morning-drive talk show host. She even did a stint as an airborne traffic reporter, flying over the roads of Pittsburgh providing on-air traffic updates for commuters.

Once the Internet started to gain in popularity, she moved into the world of interactive media with Cox Interactive Media, a division of Cox Enterprises. Kristen quickly rose to the rank of Studio Manager of and developed the news reporting team, the content production staff, and the graphics and technical teams for the first city-oriented web site for Pittsburgh. Kristen forged strategic partnerships throughout Allegheny County, helping build into one of the top city sites in the country. She traveled across the country to train and coach the interactive content teams from Cox's other media sites. and both turned into award-winning city sites and were consistently rated the top local Web sites. During her tenure, her team was often the first to uncover and report breaking news in the area, even ahead of traditional media outlets in the city.

Aware of her Internet expertise, West Virginia Media Holdings (WVMH) sought Kristen's guidance in creating a comprehensive Internet strategy for their network of television stations and print properties. Citynet was chosen as the technology partner for WVMH; bringing their technical expertise to provide the essential backend framework. As Kristen worked diligently with Citynet to perfect this Internet plan, she grew increasingly impressed with the technical talent and dedication of Citynet's Web Development team, as well as enjoying the Citynet culture. Citynet and Kristen realized they were a great team and she moved over to Citynet where she enjoys working with the company’s outstanding and creative and technical teams.

Kristen holds an associate's degree in design and a bachelor's degree in media communication from the University of Pittsburgh. She is active in her community and serves on the board of directors of several community organizations. An outdoor enthusiast, she is an avid sea-kayaker, sailor, hiker and outdoor photographer, and also enjoys playing tennis. In her spare time, she, and her Airedale Terrier, a registered Therapy Dog, enjoy visiting hospital patients.

Kristen is based out of Citynet’s Morgantown, WV office and its Bridgeport, WV corporate headquarters.

Steve Peters

Fiber Optics Implementation Manager

A resident of Weston, WV and graduate of IADT, with an Associate Degree in Computer Information Management, Steve has been with Citynet since 2001, and has held a number of positions of increasing importance.

He began his career at Citynet as a Technical Support Center Technician and was later promoted to a Sales Support Consultant. He was quickly promoted to Supervisor of the Sales Support Department and then later returned to manage the Technical Support Center. Steve is now responsible for managing the implementation of high-speed fiber optics for Citynet’s state-of-the-art network.

Steve is based at Citynet’s corporate headquarters in Bridgeport, WV.
