Support: Don't Be Spam!

Help! Our legitimate business phone number is appearing as spam!

In an ongoing effort from multiple organizations to decrease the number of spam calls, many legitimate phone numbers are getting unfairly marked as spam. The Telephone Robocall Abuse Criminal Enforcement and Deterrence Act (TRACED) mandates that all telephone carriers implement standards to combat robocalling that is affecting legitimate businesses. Frequent outbound calling can lead to a telephone number being marked as spam. This is surely frustrating, but there are a few things you can do.

If you are a Citynet Phone customer, you can call us anytime at 1.844.CITYNET to review your status

After verification, the spam notifier may be removed from your business phone number, and your status may be updated.

If your phone service is with a carrier other than Citynet, you can visit the following websites for more information. Please note that many providers utilize the Free Caller Registry: https://freecallerregistry.com/fcr  – this is a good resource if your carrier is not listed below.

You can also register your numbers with the free caller registry https://calltransparency.com.
