When you choose a Citynet Fiber plan, you don’t have to shop for equipment or guess what you need. We provide the right Wi-Fi router for your plan, designed to help deliver strong coverage, fast speeds, and a better overall experience.
How it Works
You don’t choose the router — your plan does.
To keep things simple (and make sure your equipment can handle your plan’s speed), your router is automatically included based on the Citynet Fiber plan you select.
Most people call this a “router” or “modem.” Technically, it’s an all-in-one fiber gateway that connects your home to the Citynet fiber network and provides Wi-Fi.

Need Stronger Wi-Fi?
Some homes need more than a single router to deliver strong, consistent coverage everywhere. Larger layouts, wall materials, and device placement can all impact performance.
Our Power Plan includes two Wi-Fi access points to help expand coverage and reduce dead zones.
If you’re on another Citynet Fiber plan and have tough Wi-Fi spots, we can help you evaluate your setup and determine whether additional mesh Wi-Fi access points would improve your coverage.

Can I use my own router?

What if my Wi-Fi isn’t reaching everywhere?
That’s common in larger homes or homes with dense walls. Contact our team and we’ll help you improve coverage and placement or make other recommendations.
