Getting started is easy!

Your new gateway and SuperPods have already been added to your account.  If you have not received an email from Plume with a setup link, please call Citynet at 800.881.2638.

Gateway Installation

1. Connect the small end of the power adapter to the Power port on the back panel of the gateway.

2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into the wall outlet.

3. The gateway will begin powering up immediately as the unit has no on/off power switch.

4. Confirm that the power is connected properly. The Multi-function Status LED should be lit on the front of the gateway.

5. Plug in an Ethernet cable from your ONT (where your internet comes into your home) to the WAN port of the gateway, and you are all set!

SuperPod Installation

Plume QR Code Blue1. Scan the QR code to download the Plume HomePass App or visit the app store on your smart phone.

2. Open the app and select “Set Up Plume”.

3. Follow the initial steps to set up your account.

4. Plug your SuperPod into a power outlet in the same room or near your gateway for it to quickly synchronize and update its firmware. You can use your existing information or set up a new WiFi network. Please note: if you set a new network name and password, you must reconnect your devices the next time you use them.

5. Place your SuperPod in the intended final location in your house to improve coverage.

Extend your Wifi effortlessly by adding SuperPods on every floor or by strategically placing them in larger homes. Adding more SuperPods is a simple process:

Plume SuperPod Silver Double1. Plug in your SuperPod near your gateway or an existing SuperPod.

2. Launch the HomePass App. The app will automatically search for the plugged-in SuperPod, represented by a grayed-out image. Once connected, a green checkmark will indicate the successful connection.

3. The app will prompt you to connect your SuperPod to your WiFi network.

4. Follow the steps in the app to complete the process.

5. Repeat this process for each SuperPod you add.

6. Place the SuperPod in its final intended location.
